I secretly just wanted to be a famous writer. I have been fired by half the jobs I've had, and quit some to keep that statistic steady. But I can't be fired from this mom-gig, unless I break laws that I respect. And I am not so bad. My kid says she will not be firing me anytime soon, except when I say she can't have or do anything she wants.
