I Call This One "Tragically Whimsical"

Prize winners are in the process of being chosen in a very fair-and-square manner. It is taking longer than I thought it would, mostly because there are a lot of sites to vet and I'm easily distracted by online shopping, candy, e-mail, candy, candy, and candy. (You'll notice that housework wasn't on that list).

I'll privately contact the chosen few over the weekend and then announce them here (if they don't mind) on Monday!

I liked Will Ferrell in "Elf," but I don't know that I could look at his likeness in my sidebar for a whole year...

But if I must, I must. I shall patiently wait and see if other ideas evolve. :)

Hi Eden, just wanted to let you know that I did post every day in November, but my blog may not reflect that. I had to delete some posts (well after they were published and read) due to family concerns. I hope that doesn't disqualify me from a badge!

NaBloPoMo was a great idea - I really enjoyed the challenge and the bonfide excuse to blog every day. Loved the writing but had to let a lot of the blog socialising slide to have the time. Now I need to catch up on everyone elses blogs.

Thanks for all your hard work - hope you can manage to do this again next year - I'll be up for it.

Thank you for being a catalyst. For working hard, and neglecting much of your life for this project. I don't think any of us knew it would take off the way it did. Yes I posted every day, through the loss of my job, a sick child, a new job with exhausting hours, losing my medical coverage, being too broke to buy toilet paper...through LIFE. I've already "won", for through this experience I've come to know people on the other side of the world, and just across town. Friendships impossible without a crazy lady who said one night..."NaBloPoMo!"
So Thank You again Eden, it's been a joy.

Hey, would it be asking too much for a button for people who came really close to posting every day?

Like a "Yay! I Almost Did It!" or "I Did It! Oh, not Really" button? With like a runner falling down on the track before the finish line? Because that's all I qualify for.

As usual.

I totally agree with Erin. We need a button for the Almost Did It gang. Those of use who really, really tried, and posted 29 days (with sometimes more than one post!) but got lured into missing one single day by a beautiful bottle of wine. Yes, we need a button also.

Love the button! And now that my Internet connection has been restored and I don't have to rely on the pathetic 30 free minutes of computer time offered by my township library, I can actually install the button! While eating chocolate chip cookies baked by me because what else was I going to do with NO INTERNET in the house?

(I should get a hardship prize for dragging three children to the library two days in a row just to get a post up!)

I've had a lot of fun visiting new blogs through NaBloPoMo, although I think YOU deserve an award for wading through the 60million blogs that was NaBloPoMo this year. LOL! Good luck! Don't forget to surface long enough to feed your doggy!

(er... and the kids, of course.) ;)

I agree -- you did a great job organizing this, let alone blogging every day yourself.

You have probably already been by my site (A Prairie View), but could you take a look-see again? I posted my stats for November. Not only did I blog every day in November, but I also.....

home now, but in pain, puffy face, bugged out on codeine, and checking my email every few minutes to see if there is anything to smile about in the midst of all this dental trauma

I had fun with this, posting every day. Thanks for doing it! (I was never sure what else I was supposed to do -- whether I was somehow supposed to check in or let you know I'd done it all 30 days, so if I missed out on prizes, my bad. But if there WAS something I was supposed to do to let you know, would somebody say what it is? So I'll know next year, of course!)
