Wow, if I didn’t have this shoe thing going on I don’t know what I’d post about on days like this = hunkered down and no time to stretch a quotidian accident to its blogular snapping point.
Man, I forgot I even had these Pumas. Bought back in ’04 or ’05, whenever it seemed important that women’s feet look small and sleek (a look that frankly does not suit me). They remind me of Uma Thurman’s shoes in Kill Bill. I don’t think they looked that good on her, either. Not much support. I should probably get rid of them.

de-lurking for a bit to say that these are the coolest shoes that you’ve posted yet!
if they’re a size 7 i’d gladly purchase them from you.
I was just about to say the same thing. I’ll pay for the shipping and send you free Lush.
nothing meaningful to add here, just tossing you a virtual powerbar & a paper cup of gatorade.
Go Eden!
Piping in to say I’d love them if they’re a size 8.

Size 9! Size 9! I’ll buy them!!
Dude, you’ve found a brilliant way to recycle shoes.
I had some sweet shoes back in those days, as well. Mine were less expensive and wore out in no time.
Of course, that might have been because I wore them to grueling daily dance rehearsals while I was in a musical.
I love the word quotidian! Screw the shoes, let’s talk vocabulary.
So am I to understand that not only you, but enough women (and possibly men) to make NaShoePoMo an actual thing, have (at least) 30 pairs of shoes? And is there something wrong with me for being surprised?
If you include bike shoes and running shoes and mowing-the-lawn shoes, I myself have got about 10 pairs.
Maybe it’s all those years I spent in Vermont, where you wear your Sorels like ten months out of the year and flip-flops (sorry, Alice) the other two.
Maybe it’s having a size 5 and growing weary of learning virtually every time I wanted a shoe that it started in size 6.
Maybe I should discuss this in therapy?
(These shoes are my favorites so far too, by the way.)
Putting in a bid for a 6-1/2! Love the shoes.
Deb Abramson, I am right there with you, except that I didn’t know what Sorels were until I googled them. I live in the desert and have maybe 8 pairs of shoes but live in my crocs. Even at my office job. VERY professional, yes?
You know Eden, I am jeaolous of your shoe versatility. If i don’t wear Dansko clogs, i basically turn into a crippled old lady. my cousin once told me, “If you start wearing Danskos, you will always have to wear them” and dammit she was right.
I’m learning so much about everyone’s feet!
I’m afraid these red Pumas are a size 10, but I am totally going to put them on eBay along with whatever else I dig up that I don’t wear anymore.
“no time to stretch a quotidian accident to its blogular snapping point.” Perfect. I’m about ready to post about my drive to work at this rate (all 3 minutes of it).
Bossy could maybe lop off her toes in order to squeeze into your dainty shoes, huh? When Bossy shops for shoes down her size aisle it’s just her and the transvestites.
Size 10?! Could that be a size 7 in some universe? Love your style, send a link to your ebay site, please.
I’ll buy ‘em. I’m a 10.5/11. They’d go awesome with a hoodie I have in the same color. Worn over my fussy shirt, natch.
Email me if you’re serious about offloading. I’ve got paypal.
Hey,aren’t those rock climbing shoes? All rubber toe for clinging, no need for much support when you spend your time on your toes…just sayin’
Yeah link to e-bay please – I’m a 10!! Over here! Wooo!
Just wanted to say those red Puma’s made a 2nd attempt to get into my life. There’s a shop near where I live in Vancouver that supports ‘women in need’ charities by selling donated goods. They put their best items in the window and sell those items on certain days. Recently a pair of red Puma’s just like yours turned up. The price was $14 and a listed size 6 (I take a 7).
It’s known that people line up before the store opens to get 1st dibs on window items, so be sure I had a shot at those Pumas, I camped out at 8:30 this morning patiently waiting until 11 am to see if the shoes would fit. Happily, I report that they did and the red Puma’s I coveted from your website are finally on my feet.
Thanks. In some small way you played a roll in today’s adventure because for some reason I feel I wouldn’t have noticed them in the shop window if I hadn’t of seen them on your blog and WANTED them.
