What Did I Do So Far Today?

Oh, just move a quarter-ton of gravel with a snow shovel. In my house slippers.
GRRRRR!

Dear God! And here I thought *I* was a badass just because I pulled a vein out of a chicken thigh without vomiting. Be careful out there, Mrs. Kennedy.

I got appointed family handyman to my grandparents' house when my aunt got ill. Turns out gramps was quite a tinkerer. This is just a long-winded way of encouraging you to call in the professionals if you have to, you know, work on the house wiring. *twitch*

Holy rocks, Batman. There has to be a celebratory drink in there somewhere afterwards. For the back pain, I mean, at the very least. Purely medicinal. Yeesh.

My back's fine. My left arm is a little quivery, though, I presume from the heart attack I'll be suffering later today.

You're a rock star! But the imperative question is this: Where they BUNNY slippers? Because if so, you would have achieved the pinnacle of coolness in my book.

heart attack crap? you aren't even fourty right?

oh wait, i'm at least that old and we were in school today, wow i'm really aging, heart is skiiping a beat everytime i forget how old i am....

gravel solution:

try a front loader from lowes next time, buy it, use it, then return it and say it's not the right color or it doesn't fit in the garage next time....

Unfortunately, I do not normally travel with bunny slippers! That's a good idea, though!

Seriously, there'd just been this pile of gravel in the driveway for like a year and I got tired of looking at it so I got a shovel and a broom and scattered it around to cover up the plastic that was showing underneath the decorative lawn edging gravel bare spots.

I'm also happy to report that I got a thumbs up from the guy collecting our garbage while I was doing it.

I used to HATE IT when we got firewood and/or mulch delivered when we were kids. Snow shovels, blankets, dumping, feeling dirty, dusty, ack. Yuck, yuck. But I never had to do it in my housecoat and slippers.....

Eden, I just came up with an idea..what about Knock Knock who's there month? I have been playing with it in my blog and it's fun.

You can do a lot of stuff with it, and make fun of those around you and with everyday life with the knock knock format. And I like doing that!

Just a thought. But, you may have already thought of it, I haven't checked in the site since I last blew the month of January.

Hope your mom doing is okay. I have had my share of ageing parents... I hope my dog lives longer than me, so she can phone 911 when we get old, fall, and break our hips.
