My dad is in the end stages of prostate cancer, and still at home. The other day, he had a craving for Burger King. He ate more of his whopper jr. and onion rings than of anything we've made all month. And if I could get the booze past my mom, he'd have that too. <br /><br />So bring on the burgers and pie. And, as I am sure the hospice people have told you more than once, take care of yourself, too. (I know it's hard to leave the side of someone you have limited time with, but do it anyway.) When I visit my 96 year old great Aunt, I take her to the Hard Rock cafe for a chocolate milkshake TWICE A DAY. Otherwise she hardly eats anything.
